Just a jumbled mess. Doesn't even bother to explain Color Correction, which is in almost every beginner book I've ever read. He puts a review chapter of editing tools and techniques at Chapter 7, when the students really need it after Chapter 2 or 3. He has a long chapter 8 on design of lines and shapes that seems to come right out of a Photoshop manual, but of course, this is Premiere Pro. I would have thought he would spend more time on the rule of thirds, leading lines, etc. But, those are camera techniques, not editing techniques. He ends with Working with others, which maybe he should start with? I just don't get this book at all
In response to the previous comment -The book is titled Learn Premiere Pro CC: Adobe Certified Association Exam Preparation.It's designed to help you learn what you need to know to pass the ACA exam.While color correction, rule of thirds, leading lines etc. are part of video production, those things are not covered in the test.The book does a great job of covering a large amount of tested subjects in just a few short projects.
