The person who left a one star review obviously didn't read the book. The Black God transcends the idea of race. True Islam asserts that God is Black, not in the sense of race; he's Black because the only material to form himself of was primordial Black matter. If you read the first 6 chapters you'll see that True Islam makes assertions that are vetted by world religious history and science. Then Dr Wesley takes these assertions that are verifiable with ancient world religions, history and science and he draws the inherent parallels between his findings and the Teachings of Elijah Muhammad. Whether you believe in it or not, the work should be respected for its scholarship. It should not be classified as ignorant Black supremacy, reverse racism. For you to write this book off as biased Black religious dogma before reading it is, in my opinion, being biased, yourself.

Profound! What I love most about the book is its bearing of witness to the teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Due to the simple and plain language used by the T.H.E.M. in his teachings, many people dismiss his revelations as fanciful foolishness, BUT, with the 20+ years of study by our brother Dr. Wesley Muhammad, a more scholarly language and verifiable sources are confirming that which was plainly told from the beginning. Chad doesn't plan to add a woman to his plans either. It's not that he doesn't want to, it's because he doesn't believe his perfect woman exists. That is until his best friend drags him out to the local bar on his first night back in town. Chad is stunned by his reaction to a beautiful, curvy waitress. He feels instantly protective and not a little possessive. From that moment on, he vows to stop at nothing until he makes that gal his.Rachel Sweeting moved from her hometown, and loser of a mother, several years ago to live with her Aunt Jessie. Aunt Jessie welcomed her to her home. She gave Rachel love and security as well as a place to call home. A true home. A safe home. Rachel never had that before. Especially the love. Rachel was so grateful to her aunt for freeing her from a horrific childhood. Rachel works at a local bar a few hours a week, waitressing. During her shift one night she discovers a handsome, bearded cowboy watching her. All night he watched her. At first Rachel was concerned by his attention but there was something about him that made her feel safe.I won't spoil this story for you by giving too much away. There is a bit of angst and suspense that just adds to the charm of the story giving truth to the term "hero." There was definitely insta-love/lust however I didn't feel anything between Chad and Rachel was too rushed. Dani Wyatt did a fantastic job of giving us well-developed characters as well as fun and flirty dialogue. I just love a dirty talking' sexy, hot cowboy. I can't wait to read more by this author.

I really liked Rachel & Chad, and the way their stories intertwine was kinda neat. The overall story & characters get 5 stars. The whole thing would have been a five star read for me, if there had been possibly one less multi-page sex scene and a little more of something else. I never know where my tipping point will be - and my tipping point could very well be more, or less, than someone else's. But overall, I enjoyed the story & will continue to read stories from Dani Wyatt! : )

I loved loved loved the epilogue! getting a glimpse of the future between Rachael and chad so damn cute! Chad was great such a dominant character and knowing what he wants. Chad is back in town because he is tired and wants to settle down so he checks up a place to work. Rachael was working when they first met and from the start he knew he wanted forever with her. When these two finally get together its cute, she is new to everything but he doesn't everything he can to show her the ways. When a dark past happens to affect on both lives their relationship is tested. When I finally figured out what was between these two I was shocked. Great story of a cowboy finally settling down and a scared young women ready to live again.

When you add cowboys to any kind of book I'm usually bound to like it. Add in the fact that we have a sweet hero who's determined to win over the woman he knew from first glimpse was his...and I'm sold!Rachel & Chad both have a past and family they would really like to forget. The only problem is Rachel is constantly haunted by hers and Chad is always worried people will compare him to the dirty things his half-brother has done. But when all is said and done, Rachel and Chad will discover they are both more than their past and family.**"I mean, he may be rugged, but he's hot. Like viking, sling you over my should and carry you off to make babies kind of hot."**

Sweet, sexy and a bit suspenseful! Loving and possessive alpha cowboy waiting for his true love to come along but not sure he'll ever find her. Sweet, shy and bookish country girl is secretly hoping for Mr. Right to sweep her off her feet but doubts it will happen. I really enjoyed this well written, romantic and steamy true love story!

New Author for me. I'm on a cowboy kick and Wrangler came up as a recommend. Loved Chad, alpha, very dominant with good manners and heart. Rachael is shy, curvy and doesn't know what Chad sees in her. Chad sees his future in Rachael and he does everything he can to make her his. Steamy seduction, great friends, mean girls, and a crazy brother who wants Rachael for himself. Loved the 1 year and 15 years later epilogues. Will be checking out other titles by this Author.

If every woman had a Chad in her life, there would be no unhappy women in the world! The way he falls for and takes care of his Dove is heartwarming and the confidence he helps her regain makes her stronger than she ever realized she was. And this hot, dirty talking, dominant Alpha will melt your Kindle!! Ms. Wyatt is a smutty girl after my own heart. Please Ma'am, my we have some more?? 😘

I agree with the other review that this book is mostly fluff and only for beginners. I am a beginner and this book, while being informative to me, does not have everything you need. Throughout the book they continually promote their other products(books, classes, seminars, etc.) This is annoying because for $15 I expected to get everything factually listed, organized well, and presented step-by-step. Also keep in mind this book is 4+ years old so I'm not sure how much of this still applies. Again I'm just getting into real estate investing, so take this review with a grain of salt, but I was hoping for more. Still good for some of the basics though.

Great book, however, we're a far way from 2008/9 and these opportunities are few and far between now. Perhaps as the rush of investors and other money chasers get out of the pool the competition will thin out a little.

This book is full of great information! Well-written and in detail! I love her writing style and her passion shows on the pages. She's excited about what she does and loves to share! Lots of good case studies. She talks about the stuff many books don't like.. how to get your office in order, and why clutter kills productivity. And how to get over phone call reluctance and many other known but seldom discussed issues in this business. Highly recommended for quick read for anyone getting into real estate foreclosures and short sales.

This is a great must have book for investors! The author presents the information in a very clear and understanding way. It is fast reading. I read it in 7 days. It gives you ideas on how to be more creative in the real estate business. I have read other books and have gone to seminars and I still didn't understand and had many questions. This book is not that way. This book also has samples of forms that you will be using. It is detailed and step by step in the process from the beginning to the end.

I am new to real estate investing and I am so glad there are people like Dwan out there who are willing help others. Thank you for this book!

I found the book exactly as I expected and included things I did not expect. Someone that has not dealt in real estate anymore then a home buyer and wishes to begin investing; this is a very good start. It describes the 'language ' of real estate investing, giving you something to relate to when reading ads and learning the how to approach what you want to do. You must crawl before walking and I think if someone was ambitious and serious about this type of investment; they would appreciate the information and insights. A really good introduction to real estate investing or just finding a good deal.

By far the BEST and most COMPREHENSIVE book out there on foreclosure investing!!! This book teaches you every aspect of what you need to know on foreclosure sales. If you are a seasoned investor or just starting out in real estate investing, you will not be sorry you bought this book!

I wasn't sure what to expect from those book but I found it extremely helpful! As a new doula, the business end of things can be a bit difficult to figure out. This book goes through the differences between a sole proprietorship and LLC, gives several examples of different business models, explains information about requesting funding, gives sample letters and gives a lot of information about nonprofits. Best of all, the author shows the behind the scenes of her own business ventures- the successes and failures. While I intend to run a for-profit business, I found the nonprofit information very helpful.

I was really impressed with this book. So far on my doula journey, I have found the books I've read to be a bit boring and outdated. And although they have a good source of information on the birth aspect, not much information on what it's like to be an actual Doula. Where this book tackles all the issues.Amazingly enough, this book handled a lot of my harder questions, for example.. What the heck to do if you live in a POOR area? Where I live, more than 65% of my city is in poverty. And if I am being perfectly honest with you? Money isn't what drove me to be a Doula anyway.. But despite this, I still see Doulas charging insane amounts of money and then complaining they aren't getting any work. This book talks about offering a sliding scale and even when to work for free.This book is a life saver because in addition to the classes I have paid for, I almost got the "Advanced Business Classes for Doulas' and from what I have seen here in this book, I won't even need them!

I had no idea how to go about starting my own business and really getting into the field. This book helped me prepare and answered every business question (and even some not so straight-forward business questions) that I had. It helped me boost my confidence and gave me the map I needed to get established. I am now the proud owner of my own birth services business and I am thriving. I cannot tell you how much I recommend this book to those just getting started!

She's real and genuine about the business aspects for the doula business and right to the point. I love how instead of telling how you should run your business she instead gives advice and information and says do what you think is best for you and your business. Great book for doulas

This book is well worth the time and money spent, the clarity of thought and comprehensiveness of this book will make it mandatory reading for any Doula Workshop that I teach through my Certifying Organization.

Concise and informative.It gives one a good idea on how to start her own doula business. It is now one of the required readings for DONA certification!

Everything there is to know about everything doula business related! From all the different types of businesses you can have, to how to name your business, to how to make business cards, etc, etc, etc.... really really complete book. It's even intimidating for someone who knows nothing about business, but if you're serious about starting a doula business this is the book you need!

Highly recommend this and the companion workbook. Both will become a part of the CT Doula Tutoring Project this fall.
