We don't get to pick our texts If you are in a coding class...ck out Pinterest. There are some great short cuts to understand classes of drugs. I took Pharmacology as a Summer course and it kicked my butt. But I loved it. Now I am thinking about it as a career. My instructor skipped the math portion. If you are not skipping the math portion (look at your syllabus). Check out an app on iTunes...it gives you all kinds of short cuts to understanding the medical math. There is also a 5 dollar laminated cheat chart you can buy.
I recommend this study guide it helps with the quizzes in class and it helps you to review and understand the chapter material so much better. The only down side is that the answers are not in the back of the book but the answers are easy to find in the book. I definitely recommend purchasing this study guide book!
The textbook itself was the same as the description, and full of very useful information. The condition wasn't has decribed, however, and had some highlights, marks, ect. With that being the only exception this book was very helpful and good.
Book is very simplified, the only problem is that some of the information for the questions at the end of each chapter quiz is not located within the book and additional research must be done to get answers.
